Did you take part in viewing Monday's solar eclipse?! The highly-coveted glasses meant to protect your eyes can take on a new life.....if you let them! There are 2 options to consider:

1️⃣ Astronomers Without Borders is collecting gently-used eclipse glasses from the U.S. and Canada. The campaign, which has been running since 2008, redistributes glasses to people in other countries for upcoming eclipses. AND, better yet, thanks to a partnership with Astronomers Without Borders, glasses can be dropped off at all Warby Parker locations across the country.

2️⃣ Eclipse Glasses USA accepts donated eclipse glasses as long as they're not damaged. The cool part? They donate them to schools in Latin America where full annularity will be seen during the October 2024 eclipse.  Now, the awe-inspiring phenomenon of a solar eclipse can viewed by K-12 students there.
