The Crayon Initiative sends free crayons to over 240 children’s hospitals across the United States. All you have to do is box up your new or used crayons and send them in! Or, better yet, drop them off at your local Staples. It's that easy. More than 678,000 kids have had joy brought to their days via this program.

As if you needed more incentive: the program has also kept more than 52 million crayons out of landfills.
