It's estimated that at least 1 in 7 children in the U.S. has experienced child abuse and/or neglect in the past year, according to the CDC. Even if that child is able to receive counseling, often that child returns to a home, more specifically their own room, that keeps the trauma alive. For a child of trauma, having a transformed room to come back to aids in their healing and transformation.
