With up to 40% of the 4.2 million youth experiencing homelessness identifying as LGBTQ+, youth in this community disproportionately experience homelessness compared to their straight and cisgender peers.

True Colors Day (April 27, 2023) is an international day of advocacy around preventing and ending LGBTIQ youth homelessness. It’s also a day to celebrate people who are working to ensure LGBTIQ people have housing - no matter the challenge. Here are some ways you can get involved to help:

✅ With nearly 200 anti-LGBTQ bills across the country, considering adding your name to a petition: https://actnow.io/I4COEul

OR

✅ Take the pledge to help LGBTQ homeless youth via True Colors United: https://truecolorsunited.org/day/take-the-pledge/
