👉 Learn a fact or two: *
- Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. And every 9 minutes, that victim is a child.
- Nationwide, 7.4% of youth have been physically forced to have sexual intercourse.
- It's estimated that 734,630 people experienced rape in the U.S.

Men as Victims: **
- Most commonly associated with girls and women, sexual assault also has male victims. Men and boys who have been sexually assaulted may have many of the same feelings and reactions as other survivors of sexual assault, but they may also face some additional challenges because of social attitudes and stereotypes about men and masculinity.
- About 14% of reported rapes involve men or boys, and that 1 in 6 reported sexual assaults is against a boy and 1 in 25 reported sexual assaults is against a man.
