This time last year home heating oil was priced ~57% lower than it is today. Experts believe this trend is likely to continue through the winter.

A little known tip is that utility companies will often do home energy assessments, many times at no-cost. They will inspect ductwork as well as assess the overall energy efficiency of your home. We’ve even read of some utility companies doing minor repairs to help, free-of-charge.

✔️ So, if you’re worried about the rising cost of heating your home this winter, contact your utility company to inquire about a ‘home energy audit’. The savings can really add up, for both you and our environment.

✔️ Or, consider lowering your thermastat. For every degree lower you go, you can save between 1-3% of your heating costs. The less energy we use, the better for the planet too.
