A 4 year-long study examining how service dogs can help veterans with PTSD has recently been completed. Veterans placed with trained service dogs have better mental health outcomes than those paired with emotional support dogs.

You can help veterans by signing a petition to educate Congress about this study (and hopefully make it easier for vets with PTSD to get placed with service dogs).
