A new organization launched last month with the aim of renaming a bridge in Alabama that bears the name of a KKK leader (Edmund Pettus).

In 1965, Congressman John Lewis (then a 23 year old) nearly lost his life on that bridge fighting for civil rights during what is known as “Bloody Sunday.”
