Fact 1: Balloons (and plastics) are a huge threat to sea turtles.

Fact 2: Nearly 21,000 nests were laid last year on a 9.5 mile stretch of the Florida coast.

Fact 3: If you’re on a beach and see a nest, don’t disturb it.

Fact 4: Sea turtle nesting season lasts from March through October.
