Become a tax preparer for low income NY’ers with New York Cares. Information sessions are help continuously over the next months.
These information sessions will explain how to become a certified tax preparer, and where, when, and how you can participate in the tax season.
Once trained, volunteers will be asked to commit to a weekly evening, daytime or weekend shift for the tax season. Sites are available in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens or Brooklyn.
