This interest is focused on the recognition, protection and revitalization of our myriad cultures, which are viewed as defining our humanity and our connection to the earth and each other.
Asian American and Hmong history is now cemented into the core curriculum in Wisconsin schools. K-12 public schools will now require it in an effort for students to learn the cultures and celebrate the people that make Wisconsin what it is.
