Raising funds for queer justice organizations has gotten tastier over these last years, thanks to chef and cookbook author Liz Alpern. Liz founded Queer Soup Night in Brooklyn, New York, after the 2016 election. At the first Queer Soup Night, Alpern made the soup. Now, Queer Soup Night invites local LGBTQ chefs to make soup to help elevate their public profiles.....and they're active in 13 cities across the U.S.

Major kudos to Vanessa Parish who, during the pandemic, started a mutual aid fund to support food service workers who were being laid off. Today, the Queer Food Foundation brings together everyone in the ever-growing queer food space. Check it out when you tap "LGBTQIA" ☝️
