Spring is around the corner, and many communities already have annual spring plant sales and festivals on the calendar. While beautiful, plants also help our environment by producing oxygen using light, water, and carbon dioxide. Many scientists say that the production of O2 by plants allows for complex life (that's us!) to form.
Take part in planning for springtime, and doing it over the next weeks and month allow for it to be done less expensively too.
Here are some ideas to get started:
1. Many cities already have annual spring plant sales. Here are a few:
- South Florida: April 9 & 10 (Spring Garden Festival Featuring the 36th Annual Spring Plant Sale) - https://www.fairchildgarden.org/Events-Community-Outreach/Events-Details/spring-garden-festival-featuring-the-36th-annual-spring-plant-sale
- New York City: April 12 (https://www.grownyc.org/gardens/plant-sale)
