Plastic straws take AGES to decompose (in fact, do they decompose at all?) and think about the last time you used a straw. How long did you use it for?

The usage life span of a plastic straw is what, like 10 seconds? (Ok im exaggerating but seriously, let’s say 20 minutes even though we all know it’s less than that).

Think about how many decades it takes to decompose!! Most of them end up in the ocean, which is way worse.

‘Plastic straws are really bad for the ocean. It’s estimated that we use over 500 million every day in America, and most of those end up in our oceans, polluting the water and killing marine life.’ :(

They’re often not recyclable; being too light weight and small in size.

JUST SAY NO to plastic straws, it’s the easiest decision ever.
