When we're sick, most of us would prefer to be at home rather than a hospital. The same applies to aging. Home-based services are almost always the superior choice to nursing homes. A new bill would expand access to home and community-based services for aging veterans, keeping them in their own homes instead of forcing them to go into assisted living. The whole thrust of the bill is to give our veterans more options to get care where THEY want.
