AUGUST 11, 2023 UPDATE: After a mighty 4,248-mile repair voyage, Uncle Dave and our road repair team are pulling off the pavement for a while. Thanks to everyone who showed up to get their gear fixed. We repaired more than 1,000 fleeces, backpacks, and other cherished items. Stay tuned for where we're headed next.

Instead of trashing what’s broken, what if we bring it back to life? When we pick up a needle and thread, grab a patch or sit down at the sewing machine, we’re reminded of the simple, satisfying joy of repair. It’s how we build a relationship with the stuff we own.
85% of clothing ends up in landfills or gets incinerated.* One of the best things we can do for the planet is keep stuff in use longer and reduce our overall consumption. That means buying less, repairing more and trading in gear when you no longer need it.
