VOLUNTEER

- California Volunteers is a government organization dedicated to making an impact through civic engagement and mobilization. Right now, they are working hard to distribute much-needed resources and aid. Check out their current ways to volunteer:

- California’s beautiful beaches have been battered with all kinds of debris — plastic, tires, and a whole lot of trash. Heal the Ocean, which is dedicated to keeping beaches and oceans trash-free, is recruiting volunteers to clean up the mess.

- Community clean up efforts are underway. Consider volunteering to help clean up or spend a few hours helping at an emergency shelter.

DONATE FUNDS

If you aren't in a position to volunteer, the organizations above are also looking for donations to help fuel their work. You can find donation options using the links above or, consider donating to the following organizations also working in California:

- Red Cross: https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation.html/

- Direct Relief: https://donate.directrelief.org/give/406660/#!/donation/checkout

ThatHelps will continue to update these options to help as more become available.
