Bristol Bay in Alaska, home to the most abundant salmon fishery in the world, has spent almost two decades threatened by copper and gold mining. Mining projects conceived in Bristol Bay threaten 31 Tribes and over 30 million sockeye salmon. It’a time for the EPA to act and permanently protect this region, meet conservation goals, and safeguard Bristol Bay’s future.
