Since 2017, more than 30,000 families living on over 9,500 acres of land northern Uganda's Kiryandongo District have been forced to leave their homes. The evictions stopped farming, taking away their income. Their basic human rights were violated when they became victims of homelessness. This process has threatened their culture and way of life.
