Racism is still a very real issue. 65% of Americans believe expressing racist views has become more common in recent years. 45% believe that these views are even more accepted by the masses now than in previous years.

Last month, a bill was introduced to Congress that would create grant programs through the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). If passed, this funding would provide support to arts and humanities projects that work to end systemic racism in America through the arts and humanities.
