1️⃣ When you need housing or housing-related services, give your business to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to fair housing.
*A few ways that you can know a company does support fair housing include: Employing people of all backgrounds and advertising that they support equal housing.
2️⃣ Register to vote, and learn if candidates running for office support fair housing. If you wish to vote, vote in local elections.
*Visit vote.gov to find out more about registering to vote in your state.
3️⃣ Report housing discrimination.
You can make a community more open to everyone if you report discrimination that you experience or witness to a fair housing organization or government enforcement agency.
