Studies show that acts of kindness are good for our mental health. To honor World Mental Health Day this month, you can make your act of kindness go even further to help those who are struggling with mental illness.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Click “Join” above.

Step 2: Do a random act of kindness - it can be something small (complimenting a co-worker that seems down) or big (such as bringing a lunch to an elderly person, or buying a coffee for a stranger).

Step 3: Click “Complete” below. For each completion, ThatHelps will donate $5 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. *

Please consider sharing your act of kindness to inspire others to do the same.

This opportunity will be open for 30 days.

*: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
