"Safe Flight IPA takes flight! New York City Audubon has collaborated with local craft brewersxa0Kings County Brewers Collectivexa0(KCBC) on “Safe Flight IPA,” a limited batch brew designed to raise awareness of bird collisions with windows. Join us atxa0KCBC in Bushwick, Brooklynxa0to learn about the many conservation issues threatening migratory birds as we screenxa0The Messenger, the award-winning documentary exploring our deep-seated connection to birds and the uncertain fate of migratory songbirds. Cans of the Safe Flight IPA will be sold to support NYC Audubon’s Project Safe Flight program. The screening will be followed by a Q + A with KCBC brewer Pete Lengyel, who was inspired to create Safe Flight IPA after learning of the 100 of millions of birds that perish annually in the U.S from striking windows.
