In the world’s poorest countries, women and girls walk nearly 4 miles every day to retrieve clean water for their families, which often keeps them from an education, a career, and independence. This is injustice.

From March 8 to 14, 2017, you can change outcomes for women and girls through CARE’s Walk In Her Shoes. Join CARE and Sheryl Sandberg, Honorary Chair of Walk In Her Shoes, Facebook COO and founder of LeanIn.Org, as we walk in solidarity with women all around the world. You’ll experience their daily journey by walking 10,000 steps, and you’ll help create a better future by fundraising for CARE programs that teach, finance, and support women in poverty."
