Join Our End Child Hunger Challenge & Feed Hungry Kids

Roughly 22 million children and teens qualify for and receive free or reduced-priced meals at their schools during the academic year, but only 3.7 million of them participate in free summer meal programs. That leaves millions of young people without access to a healthy, filling meal during summertime.

Let’s join together to help feed hungry kids this summer. For each user who joins and completes the Child Hunger Challenge on ThatHelps’ app, we’ll donate $10 to No Kid Hungry. $10 can help provide up to 100 meals! When 500 users complete the Challenge, we’ll post our donation receipt on the app and on social media. (The donation will be up to $5,000, which can feed a lot of hungry kids.)

Complete the Child Hunger Challenge on ThatHelps and we’ll donate $10 to No Kid Hungryit should only take about 3 minutes!

Don’t have the app yet? Here’s how to start making a difference for hungry kids now:

  1. Download our app. Look for the Child Hunger Challenge opportunity under the “Featured” section at the top of the app feed, then click “Join.” Once you’ve completed it, mark the Opportunity “Complete.” That’s it!
  2. Use ThatHelps to build followers and expand your helping network. Invite people to follow you. Then follow causes and interests to discover even more opportunities that make a difference. Or create your own to help the causes you care about!
  3. Activate your networks. Share your good deed with friends, family, and neighbors to inspire them to help support kids facing summertime hunger, too. On our app, you can even thank members for their efforts.
  4. Track impact.  This Challenge will be open until 500 passionate members of the ThatHelps community have joined and completed it. The sooner you participate and rally your networks, the sooner you can make an impact for kids in need across the United States. Check out how much impact ThatHelps members made during our previous Challenge!
